The HICKORY mast, of type   <\/span><b>TZ-90<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and with a total height of<\/span><b> 160 meters<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, was installed on <\/span><b>May 14, 2021<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. The structure of the tower was specifically designed to withstand wind loads, and its fabrication consists of 3-meter-long triangular sections with a hot-dip galvanized coating.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The project focused on the installation of an <\/span><b>extensive range of meteorological instrumentation <\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">in accordance with IEC 61400-12-1 Ed.2 and MEASNET recommendations. This included the installation of   <\/span>eight <b>Thies <\/b><b>anemometers<\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">at various heights (60m to 160m, with redundancy at 160m and 120m) and one <\/span><b>vertical anemometer <\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">at 156m. Four First Class wind vanes between 56m and 155.3m were also mounted, whose orientation and displacement were meticulously calculated   <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">in situ<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  by compass measurements. The mast also has   <\/span><b>two temperature and relative humidity sensors <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">(at 155m and 10m), an atmospheric pressure sensor (at 155m), obstacle lights (at 155m and 85m) and a lightning rod.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A<\/span><b> particular feature<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> of this project was the <\/span><b>inclusion of an SM3BAT bat detector<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, with the microphone at 40m and its recorder at 2m, programmed for nighttime monitoring of bat passes and pulses. <\/span><b>All data is recorded by an<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Ammonit Meteo-40M data logger located at a height of 2 meters, with <\/span><b>remote access<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. <\/span><b>The system is self-sufficient in energy through three<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> 410W<\/span> photovoltaic panels and <b> 12 12V batteries<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> with a capacity of 20Ah.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-11 fusion_builder_column_1_2 1_2 fusion-flex-column\" style=\"--awb-bg-size:cover;--awb-width-large:50%;--awb-margin-top-large:0px;--awb-spacing-right-large:3.84%;--awb-margin-bottom-large:20px;--awb-spacing-left-large:3.84%;--awb-width-medium:50%;--awb-order-medium:0;--awb-spacing-right-medium:3.84%;--awb-spacing-left-medium:3.84%;--awb-width-small:100%;--awb-order-small:0;--awb-spacing-right-small:1.92%;--awb-spacing-left-small:1.92%;\"><div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper fusion-column-has-shadow fusion-flex-justify-content-flex-start fusion-content-layout-column\"><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-16\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The installation process included<\/span><b> precise site mapping with an RTK station<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and <\/span><b>detailed measurement of arm orientation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  of the sensors. The final heights of the sensors were adjusted considering all structural elements. The site was    <\/span><b>documented by photographs in eight sectors to assess roughness and possible obstructions<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. Although physical verification at the tower was not possible for safety, DNV considered the report to be sufficiently detailed. &nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In short, the customer was provided with an <\/span><b>ideal technical solution for the acquisition of reliable and standardized data <\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">of the wind resource. In addition, Telener 360 not only made sure to comply with local regulations, but also worked according to the   <\/span><b>international quality standards <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and <\/span><b>MEASNET<\/b> recommendations<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, the International Network of Wind Energy Measurement Institutes.
